NDT Training—With a Difference!
At X-R-I Testing's NDT Training Center the curriculum is focused on in-house NDT laboratory operations, but also covers essentially all NDT method equipment, consumables, procedures, and applications. Students are thoroughly educated in the applicable NDT process, with an emphasis on Nadcap requirements and the benchmarks for NDT of high performance components. All formal training sessions fulfill the qualification requirements as defined by NAS 410 and ASNT SNT-TC-1a. Course outlines comply with ASNT CP-105. In conjunction with traditional classroom instruction, we provide hands-on training, simulations, and demonstrations to promote and enhance the understanding and retention of usable NDT skills.
Our instructors will readily work with you to develop custom classes, with content tailored to your specific requirements, standards, NDT environment or application. X-R-I Testing can also provide optional on-site follow-up to your student’s classroom training. Our team of ASNT/NAS 410 certified Level 3’s can work with you or your staff in your facility to assure that the knowledge acquired by our services is constructively applied to your NDT process. Our NDT Training Center dedicated classroom equipment includes:
- CP-225 kVp HF X-ray system with walk-in Enclosure
- Computed Radiography (CR) system
- Digital Radiography (DDA) 16x16 flat panel aSi detector
- Digital Image Processing workstations
- Darkroom with Automatic Film Processor
- Magnetic Particle Inspection system - wet horizontal bench; yokes
- Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection system – Methods A, B, C
- Ultrasonic Inspection systems: contact and immersion with C-scan
- Ancillary Equipment for complete inspection and process control demonstrations and simulations
