Our NDT Testing Training Center

All courses take place at X-R-I Testing's Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Training Center, located at: Talon Test Labs: 915 Western Dr., Indianapolis, IN 46241 X-R-I Testing's NDT Training Center's curriculum focuses on both in-house NDT operations and portable/field use of the NDT methods. We provide the equipment, consumable materials, procedures, and typical applications used in a variety of industry settings for our digital x-ray training courses. In conjunction with traditional classroom instruction, we provide hands-on training simulations and demonstrations to promote and enhance the understanding and retention of usable industrial NDT skills. All formal training sessions fulfill the qualification requirements as defined by SNT-TC-1A and or NAS410. Course outlines comply with ASNT CP-105.

Our Training, Consulting and Services Group (TCSG) is ISO9001:2015 certified. The scope of the registration includes the Design of training materials and Training and Consulting services for Non-Destructive Testing Processes.

Our NDT Training Courses

X-R-I Testing's NDT Training courses focus on teaching you valuable information throughout our different lessons we provide. From liquid penetrant testing to computed radiography training, and magnetic particle testing to industrial radiography safety, our courses will give you extensive training on non destructive testing in the industrial space.

Our New Training Facility

X-R-I Testing's NDT Training Center moved from Troy, MI to Indianapolis, IN in November 2019. This new facility has two newly renovated classrooms with capacity for 8 students each, ensuring personalized attention throughout training. Hands on interaction is available for MT, PT, UT, and RT courses. This center is located within 15 minutes from downtown Indianapolis with great restaurants, museums and other attractions so you can make the most of your journey!

NDT Training Center offers a comfortable, multi-media enviroment  Walk-in enclosure with 16â€� x 16â€� dedicated DDA imaging system for simulations  Students can generate and interpret radiographs during hands-on exercises  Students have a wide variety of tools for all NDT simulations

Students at our NDT Training Center get hands on experience with film processing and the control of all NDT processes  Each student at our NDT Training Center receives a comprehensive set of learning aids that also serve as useful reference materials when they return to their work environment  Training in the ultrasonic NDT method features both contact and immersion techniques with a special focus on aerospace applications  A dedicated Magwerks multi-directional magnetic particle inspection system offers students a hands-on experience to complement their classroom training
