How is X-R-I NDT Training & Consulting qualified to provide NDT Training?
X-R-I NDT Training & Consulting is a division of X-Ray Industries, Inc., which has provided NDT services, support, and equipment to the NDT community and industry for over 75 years. Our instructors are all highly experienced and certified IAW NAS 410. Any instructor's work history is available upon request.
What are the basics of NDT personnel qualification?
Formal NDT training is one facet of NDT personnel qualification: other activities required for full qualifications of personnel may be on-the-job training/experience, written examinations, practical examinations, and physical examinations, depending upon the employer's written practice.
Will I be certified upon class completion?
Upon successful completion of any NDT course provided by X-R-I NDT Training & Consulting, the student will be issued a certificate of completion, of which the course syllabus is a primary component. The full NDT certification of the student is the responsibility of the student's employer: NDT formal training is a one facet of NDT personnel qualification and certification,the other being on-the-job experience per an employer’s written practice.
What standards do X-R-I NDT Training & Consulting training programs meet?
All training programs are compliant to SNT-TC 1A (recommended qualification and certification of NDT personnel) and/or NAS 410 (mandatory qualification and certification of NDT personnel). Course syllabi include all of the required subject matter listed within these documents.
Can training be provided at the customer's facility?
X-R-I NDT Training & Consulting's well
equipped NDT Training Center is centrally
located in Troy, Michigan. As an option, each
course can be refined and delivered at your

Class sizes are typically limited in order to
provide more equipment simulation time for all
students. We can offer special discounts for
multiple students or frequent customers. For

What is a NDT Level III (3) Consulting Service?
Most NDT programs require a certified NDT
Level 3 to administer the programs and
personnel. We can provide highly experienced NDT
Level 3's as a resource: whether to build the
NDT process for the customer, supply NDT Level 3
support due to NDT Level 3 vacancy, provide
auditing services, or a myriad of other NDT

What are X-R-I Testing's cancellation policies if I can't make the class?
All course cancellations or transfer requests must be received by X-R-I NDT Training & Consulting in writing no less than 10 days prior to the course start date for refund. If X-R-I NDT Training & Consulting cancels any class, all funds paid will be refunded in full unless optional date is requested by student. Cancellation request must be faxed to X-R-I NDT Training & Consulting at fax number: 248-244-1552.
